Seattle United Announces Hiring of Jason Dunn For 2015/16 Season

Seattle United is pleased to announce the addition of Jason Dunn to it’s 2015/16 coaching staff.

Dunn, a product of North Thurston High School in Lacey, WA, comes to the SU staff with a very impressive resume.  Most recently, Dunn has coached both club soccer and high school soccer in Arizona.  However, he created a name for himself in the Seattle market with great success as a member of the Seattle Sounders from 1994-1996, earning Rookie Of the Year honors in ’94.  Dunn has also earned caps with the US National Team, was a two-time All League selection in the National Professional Soccer League (indoors) and was a National Champion and All-American at Seattle Pacific University.

“We are very excited to bring Jason home to the Seattle area,” says club DOC Jimmy McAlister.  “We are happy to add another local soccer legend to our staff.”

“I am honored to be on the sidelines and represent the colors of Seattle United.  There is no question that they are a very well organized club with a very talented coaching staff,” offered Dunn.  “I spent my college and early professional years in the heart of Seattle and am thrilled to be able to give back to the kids of this thriving soccer market.  I have been impressed with how quickly the club’s leadership has created a winning tradition and are focused on the development of soccer players in Seattle.”
